It was a warm summers eve and it was about the right time when the fairies would come out and play.
In particular, there were three fairies that were the best of friends who would do everything together.
They decided, this eve, that they would play deeper
in the woods than usual.
They found the perfect spot to play and had hours of delightful fun.
Eventually they grew bored and decided to play a game of hide and seek.
As one of the fairies sat on a tree stump counting to 20, both fairies picked the best spot to hide. One of the fairies that was hiding was quite tired from all the flying and playing that evening, because so many hours had passed. It would be almost daylight soon.
As she was waiting to be found, she closed her eyes and fell into a deep deep sleep.
The other fairies began to worry when they couldn't find her and she wouldn't answer to their calls.
They didn't know what to do, and they had to be home before sunrise.
Suddenly, they heard some rustling and they noticed you walking along the forest trail.
They normally didn't trust humans, but you were a good friend of theirs and helped them many times in the past. They asked for your help to find their dear friend so they could go home.
You agreed to help right away.
